Poop Emoji Cupcakes for Halloween
Have you ever dressed up as Frankenstein’s Monster? Maybe these cupcakes will be an inspiration to you! When I made them, I didn’t realize how much buttercream I’d need. You know what? No regrets! Extra sweet for an extra good time – because that’s what Halloween’s all about? Right?!

Frankenstein Poop Emoji Cupcakes Recipe
Ingredients to Make Frankenstein Poop Emoji Cupcakes
- 12 chocolate cupcakes, cooled down and ready for decorating
- ½ cup white candy melts
- ½ tsp coconut oil
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 4 cups icing sugar
- 5-6 tbsp milk
- 4 small drops of green gel food coloring
- 24 candy eyes
- 3-4 small pretzel sticks
- Brown/chocolate sprinkles

Start by lining a working surface with wax paper. Then in a microwave-safe bowl, microwave candy melts and coconut oil in 30-second intervals until they are fully melted. Once melted, scoop into a sandwich bag and cut off a small portion of one corner.
With the melted candy, draw 12 small smiles onto wax paper and let set.

With an electric mixer, start beating butter, sugar, and milk on medium speed. Gradually increase to high and add gel food coloring. Beat the frosting until ingredients are smooth, combined, and completely tinted green.
Then, with a frosting bag, frost each cupcake with lots of buttercream frosting. Make sure it’s thick and high so that it resembles the “poop” emoji.

To decorate, add 2 eyes on each cupcake and break little pieces of pretzel sticks and insert them on each side. The pretzels will act as your Poop Emoji Frankenstein’s “bolts.”
Finally, top each cupcake with chocolate sprinkles and add your candy smile.

Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
