Perfect Pumpkin Cupcake Recipe for the Fall Season

Autumn Pumpkin Cupcakes

Pumpkin Cupcakes

If I can’t have a pumpkin patch at home, why not have one on my cupcakes?

With the autumn season quickly approaching, I wanted to bake something inspiring. My Cupcakes with Fondant Pumpkins are cute, elegant, and I didn’t even break a sweat making them. When the kiddos came in from playing outside, they spotted them and were immediately drawn to them.

I’ve been having a blast working with fondant. Just like play-dough, fondant allows my imagination and creativity to soar. What kind of fondant pieces would you like to see next on the blog?

Fall is definitely my favorite season, so I can’t wait to make more of these cupcakes!

Use a rolling pin to roll out the white fondant and cut fondant into small rectangles using your paring knife.

Place a small dab of the black frosting on the back and place on the cookie for the Hulk’s mouth.

Moana Cupcakes Inspired by the Heart of Te Fiti

Moana Cupcakes inspiration for Birthday

Moana Cupcakes

Moana is such an inspirational character. She is driven, courageous and knows how to stand her ground. Now that is a role model, and so many little girls love her and will undoubtedly fall in love with these Moana Cupcakes inspired by the powerful princess.

Here in our household, we love Disney movies and Moana is often on all day long! Recently, I was inspired by the film, Moana. I whipped up my Heart of Te Fiti Cupcakes. As I was making it, I could almost hear Moana singing to Te Fiti and telling her “you know who you are.” That scene gets me: Every. Single. Time.

If you are planning on hosting a Moana-themed birthday party, then these cupcakes are just what you need. You know what? It really doesn’t take much to make them! Just a batch of your favorite cupcakes, some green fondant and icing!  How awesome is that!

No-Bake Cheesecake Dip Dessert

NILLA Wafers Chocolate Banana No-Bake Cheesecake Dip

Summer is here, the sun is shining, the days are longer, and it is getting very hot outside.  As much as I love to bake, during the summer months, the last place I want to be is standing over a hot oven.  I love no-bake recipes because they’re usually quick to make and you’re still able to bring a delicious homemade dessert to all the summer parties, keeping summer fun and delicious!  One staple in most of my no-bake recipes is NILLA Wafers,  I have been enjoying them alone and in recipes, since I was a child learning to cook in my Nana’s kitchen.  They have a perfect consistency and work whether my recipe calls for a whole crunchy cookie to pair with my no-bake chocolate banana cheesecake dip or throwing them in the blender for a finely crumbled pave layer or pie crust, the possibilities are endless.
