Time to Make a Paper Plate Apple!

To make a cute and festive Paper Plate Apple, paint the paper plate red and set it aside to dry. Once dry, apply another coat if desired. Set aside to completely dry before beginning any of the gluing steps.

Cut out the brown stem and green leaf shape from construction paper along with a 4″ piece of pipe cleaner.

Turn your painted-and-dried red plate over so its painted side is down and glue the stem piece of construction paper onto the top of the plate and allow it to dry. Next, flip the plate back over to the front and glue on the paper leaf next to the stem.

Turn the paper plate to the back and glue the pipe cleaner to the apple plate’s back. Once dry, you can use a strong piece of tape to make sure the pipe cleaner stays secure on the paper plate.

Now your child can display the apple paper plate craft proudly all fall long!
