Materials to Make A Grinch Ornament:

Small terracotta pot
Large green craft pom pom
Green pipe cleaner
Scissors
Red craft paint
White craft paint
Paintbrush
Hot glue gun
Twine or ribbon
Cotton ball

How To Make DIY Ornaments of The Grinch Going Down Chimney

Paint the entire outside of a small terracotta pot with red craft paint. Be sure to get the outside of the bottom of the pot, as the pot will hang upside down when the ornament is completed.

Place the painted pot upside down, and begin to paint rows of white “brick” shapes around the outside of the pot with white craft paint.

Once dry, glue a large green craft pom pom to the top of the upside-down pot.

Cut a green pipe cleaner in half, and then cut it in half again.
Take two of the small pieces of pipe cleaner, and form them into the shape of bent legs.

Glue the two bent legs to the back of the craft pom pom at an angle, so it looks like the Grinch’s legs are kicking out behind him.
Attach a loop of twine or ribbon to the back of the pot with glue. This will allow you to hang your ornament on the tree.
