When I started thinking about our Great Wolf Lodge getaway I was excited about the water slides and the lazy river. I couldn’t wait to get wet in the water parks! However, I had no idea how many other exciting Great Wolf Lodge Attractions were at the resort!
Here are just some of the family attractions at Great Wolf Lodge
The Rope Course at Howlers Peak
This was an awesome rope course where kids and parents are harnessed in and get to climb, walk, and balance on all sorts of ropes.
Plus if your child isn’t tall enough or a bit scared of the big course, they have a miniature version for them!
Scoops Kid Spa
What little girl wouldn’t want to sit on a banana split chair, eat ice cream, get a pedicure, and wear a tiara and pink comfy robe? This is a girly girls dream come try! Manicures, pedicures, and chocolate facials plus tons of pretty pink products to purchase.
Northern Lights Arcade
Great Wolf Lodge New England also has a huge arcade with state of the art games! I liked that there are no quarters involved, you put money on a paw points card and swipe it for every game. I got one for each of the kids and let them jump around from game to game.
Creation Station at the Great Wolf Kids Store
This is where you create your own stuffed animal or pillow. We decided to do this one night right before the night time show and the bedtime story, and it was perfect. We got great pictures of the kids with their new stuffed animal characters watching the show, plus after the story, they were ready to head up to the room and snuggle with their new friends and fall asleep. The Great Wolf Kids Store also had color your own shirts and other activities that the kids thought were “very cool”!
MagiQuest
I had never heard of MagiQuest before visiting Great Wolf Lodge, but once there it’s all I heard about! The kids quickly became obsessed once they saw other kids running around with magic wands. The paw pass includes a basic wand choice and the game itself, however, you can also purchase a cool wand topper, cape, costume, wand holder, and more. We let the kids get a special topper and cape. They carried their wands everywhere throughout the entire stay and the capes only came off when I told them they weren’t allowed in the water park! The purpose of the game is to find different items and complete different quests and adventures throughout the resort.

Attractions In the Great Wold Lodge Lobby
There are countless activities in the resort’s lobby every day and night! From face painting and origami to wolf walks and bedtime stories, there is always some fun to be had.
Howlywood XD theater
This is a fun 6D ride/theater, the films are approximately 10-15 minutes long. You get to choose the movie you would like to watch, there were 3 to choose from during our visit. Then you buckle into your seat, put on the 3D glasses, and enjoy the ride.
That’s not all, there is also Lazer Frenzy laser tag, the Howl at the Moon mini-golf course, Ten Paw bowling alley, and more!

I had no idea there was so much else to do there. I have been hesitant to go there because it's about 2 hours from where I live, but maybe one of these days.

This place looks absolutely amazing. My boys would an a ball going to a Great Wolf Lodge. We have two relatively near to us; now we just need to plan a trip!

We love GWL. I actually sent my brother and his wife there for their honeymoon and they had a blast! It's not just for kids 😉
WE love GWL but after moving form the Pacific NW we don't have one near us anymore.

wow there is so much to do and keep kids busy! I love places that understand that kids need to have many things to help get all that energy out.
