My family and I recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Resort for the Share Your Influence blogging retreat and I instantly fell in love with this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel was immaculately clean at all times.
Living in Tampa Bay, I have stayed at a lot of the hotels that sit along this beautiful beach and I can honestly say that the Wyndham Grand is hands-down my favorite family-friendly resort.

Guest Rooms with a View
This family-friendly hotel has spacious rooms that are impeccably clean and decorated in a modern beach style. Each room offers a breathtaking view of either the Gulf Coast or the Intercoastal waters. The beds are super comfy so you can recharge after a full day in the Florida sun and best of all, some rooms offer “Winter the Dolphin” themed bunk beds! How fun is that? Every child visiting Clearwater wants to meet Winter, so the Wyndham offers the perfect immersive experience.
Family Friendly Pool Area
The large pool area offers a fun and relaxing place to spend your afternoon, with music and fun poolside activities that everyone with enjoy. Grab a snack or cocktail from the pool bar while the kids play games or cool off with a splash.
You can also enjoy the gorgeous sunsets that Clearwater Beach is famous for right from the pool, or throw on your flip-flops and take a stroll along the beach.
The Best Location on Clearwater Beach
The Wyndham Grand has the perfect location for families visiting Clearwater Beach with small children. Everything is located just steps away! The beach is across the street, Pier 60 is located to the right on the beach with tons of activities for the entire family, and the boat tours and activities are docked directly across from the front entrance. Plus, for any attractions that are not within a 3-minute walk, you can jump on the Jolley Trolley which stops right out front of the hotel and explore all of Tampa Bay without anybody complaining of tired feet.
Pallavi Luxury Spa
Most of us realize that vacations aren’t always relaxing for us moms when we have our little ones in tow, so make sure you take some “mommy time” and head to the Pallavi Luxury Spa! Located on the 3rd floor of the Wyndham Grand, it is the perfect place for mom’s to take some time to truly relax. With a full menu, offering everything from pedicures to salt therapy there is something to help everyone feel pampered. The Pallavi Spa also offers the popular HydraFacial which will leave your skin with an instant glow!
Reconnected Family Experience
Through November 12th the Wyndham Grand is offering optional phone-free zones so that you can unplug for the sake of vacation! In collaboration with Yondr, the Wyndham Grand is encouraging quality time over screen time with the “Reconnect, A Family Experience” program.
The phone free spaces will feature unique locking phone cases that will free guests from the temptation of checking our phones so that we can truly enjoy our vacation and family time. I love this idea! Like most parents, I am constantly viewing family memories through my phone trying to grab a great picture instead of living in the moment, and this program is a great way to give my phone a break.
To participate in the Reconnect program, just visit one of the new special VIP areas and ask a team member for a phone case. When you are ready to access your phone again, you simply visit the nearest unlocking station and the Yondr case unlocks with a simple tap.
Not sure if you can part with your phone for long? Well, the Wyndham is offering all sorts of special perks, amenities, and prizes for participants! There is even a chance to win 75,000 Wyndham Rewards Points. This sure does sounds like the perfect spot to go screen free for a while.

Love that the pool is family-friendly, it can be hard to find that these days. It seems a lot of hotels cater to a party atmosphere. These are gorgeous photos, I need to plan a visit here!
