The Best Way to Find a Dentist Today

Are you looking for a new dentist for your family? I just went through the process of finding a dentist for myself, which is never easy because of my severe anxiety at dentist offices, and finding a pediatric dentist that was not only patient enough to deal with my children but was also trained to deal with special needs, was important. Thanks to The Smile Generation, I am able to find dentists in my area that I absolutely love! The Smile Generation is a referral service that connects you with trusted, local dentists in your community. There are currently more than 650 (and growing) Smile Generation®-trusted offices across the country.

How to find a Dentist

When we lived in Massachusetts and were surrounded by family and friends that I had known my whole life, I never realized how hard finding doctors and dentists could be. As I became a mom and Aidan was diagnosed with autism, I had friends tell me about their experiences. When it was time for my kids to see a dentist, my best friend worked for one that all my nieces and nephews went to.

Then we moved to Florida, my first big move as a mom, and I quickly realized I had taken for granted all the little things, like having a dentist you trust. We have now lived in Tampa for almost 2 years and I still feel like I am getting settled in with all the small yet important stuff; however, finding a dentist for myself and the kids is easy thanks to The Smile Generation!

What makes The Smile Generation so amazing is that their trusted offices offer a wide range of services, including orthodontics, periodontics for tackling periodontal (gum) disease, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, teeth whitening, and more. Emergency appointments are also available, and pediatric dental offices provide excellent dentistry and orthodontics from specially trained pediatric dentists in a kid-friendly environment. I can find a doctor that can help with Aidan’s teeth grinding, find an orthodontist for Anthony because so many of his back baby teeth never fell out, and trust The Smile Generation for all of our dental needs going forward and keep everyone smiling!

Another problem that The Smile Generation solves for me is the financial aspect of getting my husband and me to the dentist. The children all have dental insurance, but unfortunately, we don’t, which has always hindered us from even getting the basic dental services. However, The Smile Generation can help you afford the treatment you need or want. My Smile Dental Plan is a discount dental plan that gives members exclusive access to discounted fees on many dental services. Plus, Smile Generation Financial also makes affordable financing options available.

I can’t say enough about this service, especially as a parent of children with special needs. Being able to get a list of local dentists that you know are trustworthy helps me check off a major item on my to-do list that I would normally put off for as long as possible, and they can help you too! Are you looking for a new dentist, orthodontist, or another dental professional? Make sure to head over to The Smile Generation and find a dentist you’ll love today!
