Supplies needed to make these Cereal Butterfly Snack Bags

  • Clothespins
  • Washi tape
  • Googly eyes
  • Zip-top bags
  • Rainbow fruit cereal
  • Tape
  • Pipe cleaner

How to Make These Fun Butterfly Snack Bags

  • Place a piece of washi tape on top of each clothespin.
  • Glue googly eyes on top of each clothespin.
  • Fill plastic zip-top bags halfway full of rainbow fruit cereal.
  • Fold the top of the bag down and secure it with a piece of tape on each end.
  • Divide the cereal equally across each side of the bag, leaving an open space in the middle. Pinch the middle of the bag together and secure it with the clothespin.
  • Create antennae for each butterfly by cutting a pipe cleaner in half, folding it in half, and twisting each side around the end of a pencil or pen.
  • Secure the antennae on each butterfly with a drop of glue.
