Smurfs – The Lost Village

Both my husband and I grew up watching the Smurfs, so now every time a new Smurfs movie comes out we love being able to watch our kids enjoy the character we grew up adoring.

Last weekend my family was able to prescreen the newest Smurfs film that is set to be released on April 7th, Smurfs: The Lost Village.  This Smurfs movie is honestly my favorite movie to date!

About the Smurfs – The Lost Village

In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!

Our Thoughts

When leaving the theater all three children exclaimed “Smurfs: The Lost Village is the best Smurfs movie we’ve seen!”  and I have to agree.  jam-packed packed with just enough comedy, drama, happy, and heartbreaking moments to keep everyone’s attention locked on the screen.  I didn’t have to tell either twin to “shhhh” once, that tells you how much they enjoyed it!

This is a movie I definitely recommend for families this Spring!  It’s Smurftastic!
