Holiday Gift Ideas for Kids
It is that time of year again! I love the holidays and gift-giving is so much fun, but let’s face it, it can be very stressful too. I am always on the hunt for the perfect gifts that will make my children and the other little kiddos on my list excited, I love seeing a huge glowing smile and knowing I picked the perfect present. However, these days kids have so many things grabbing for their attention it can be hard to find that epic gift, but stress no-more ladies I have some amazing kid-approved gift ideas that will light up the faces of every child on your list!
American Girl Doll and Accessories
American Girl Doll’s are always a huge hit with school-aged girls on my list. If you have a younger child on your list American Girl offers Bitty Babies and Wellie Wishers, however, once girls enter grade school they will likely already be eyeing a favorite American Girl Doll from the Historical Characters, the Doll of the Year, or Truly Me Collection. My daughter has been in love with the entire American Girl Doll Julie Collection for as long as I can remember.
American Girl Doll Julie and Book
The Julie Albright character is a 1970’s inspired historical character doll. Julie has straight blond hair, brown eyes, and is decked out in an iconic 70’s outfit complete with bell-bottom jeans and platform sandals.
The 18″ American Girl Dolls have a soft cotton body with moveable limbs and head that are made of smooth vinyl and full of character. The dolls also come with a paperback book so you can learn all about the character. Julie comes with the book The Big Break, which is the first book in a series of Julie’s Stories.
Julie’s Pinball Machine
Pinball arcades were incredibly popular in the ’70s, and Julie loves to try to beat the high score!
The Flip Side pinball machine works just like a real one, with flashing lights, a digital scorekeeper, a
plunger to launch the metal ball, buttons to control the flipper arms on either side, bumpers, and
realistic machine sounds. Plus the quality is impeccable and made with real metal and wood.
Julie Christmas Outfit for Dolls
Christmas holds a special place in Julie’s heart. Whether she’s making holiday crafts with her mom
or visiting the Fairmont Hotel to get hot chocolate with her dad and her sister, Tracy, she loves to
dress up for the occasion.
Julie’s Christmas Outfit includes:
• An authentic ’70s-style pink velvet dress with rickrack and crochet trim, a mock turtleneck,
and balloon sleeves that make Julie feel fancy
• A black satin bow for her hair
• A pair of opaque white tights to keep her legs warm
• A pair of black patent Mary Jane shoes with real metal buckles
Julie Christmas Fireplace
Just in time for the holidays, celebrate with Julie and her Christmas Fireplace. When there is no fireplace for Santa to come down in the new apartment that Julie moves to after her parents’ divorce, her mom gets a faux fireplace instead!
Julie’s Christmas Fireplace Includes a traditional printed cardboard fireplace, including a faux fire and hooks on the mantle to
hang stockings and a hand-painted real ceramic Christmas tree that really lights up! Plus, two red felt stockings with Julie’s name embroidered on the front of one and her sister Tracy’s on the other, a real ceramic plate with a printed holly decoration to hold two gingerbread cookies for Santa to munch on, a glass of milk for Santa to drink, a notecard to place by the milk and cookies for Santa, two Christmas cards, one from Julie’s best friend, Ivy, and the other from Julie’s aunt and a letter to Santa from Julie with her Christmas list.

Chocolate Poop Maker
What kid doesn’t like chocolate? The Chocolate Poop Maker will definitely bring out all the laughter this holiday season! Kids can make their own chocolate poops by melting the chocolate, and “flushing” it down the toilet which pours it into the molds. Once you refrigerate the molds for 5 minutes, your children will get a kick out of these poo-tastic treats!
The Chocolate Poop Maker comes with one reusable toilet, one chocolate poop mold with cute faces, one packet of
brown chocolate, one toilet plunger, and one reusable chocolate dispenser.
For the dinosaur-loving preschoolers on your list, I suggest the Gigantosaurus! With the push of a button, kids can make the Gigantosaurus’s mouth open and close while making roaring sounds. This 15-inch long dinosaur also makes real stomping sounds when kids make the Gigantosaurus stomp.
