I have always been a huge fan of bananas. These muffins are a great way to trick kiddos into getting fruit in their meals. Does mom win? I think so!

Ingredients to Make This Chocolate Banana Muffins Recipe

1 ½ cups flour

ÂĽ cup high-quality cocoa powder

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ cup granulated sugar

1 egg

½ cup canola oil

ÂĽ cup whole milk

2 ripe bananas (the riper, the better)

1 cup of chocolate chips

 

Yields: 8-10 large muffins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a muffin tin with large muffin liners.

In a small bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.

In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar and egg, until creamy. Add canola oil and milk and mix.
