You Have Bleeding Gums

One of the biggest signs that you are not taking care of yourself is if you are experiencing bleeding gums. No amount of bleeding, when you brush, is safe, as it indicates that your gums cannot breathe under the layer of plaque that’s there. If you want to do something about this then you need to go and see a hygienist as soon as you can, as they can help you to alleviate your bleeding gums. They can also take steps to remove the bacteria that is causing the huge inflammation, to say the least. If you ignore bleeding gums then you may find that you end up experiencing periodontitis. This is a big deal so you want to avoid that if possible.

You’re Experiencing Tooth Pain

If you have pain in your tooth then this is another major sign that your health is taking a dive. If you want to help yourself here then make sure that you look into the treatments that are available to you. If you are worried about needing a root canal then it may be that you look into a root canal alternative, as this is a good way for you to make sure that you are not only fixing the issue but doing it in a way that makes you feel comfortable.

You Have Bad Breath

Another major issue would be bad breath. If you struggle with bad breath regularly after eating foods like onion or garlic then this is perfectly normal but if you find that you have bad breath after eating other types of food then this is probably something that you should try and deal with. If you want to help yourself here then it may be that you see your dentist to see if they can give you an idea of what could be causing your bad breath.

Your Teeth are Loose

If you have loose teeth then this is something that you need to deal with immediately. If you have loose teeth but it is not due to an injury then this could indicate that you have a very big issue on your hands. If you want to do something about this then you need to try and take steps to try and fix the issue. If you play contact sports then make sure that you wear a mouth guard in the future. If you don’t play contact sports but have no idea what is causing your injury then you should probably see your dentist as they may be able to advise you on the steps you can take to tighten your gum, or at least make sure that you are not suffering from a condition like periodontitis.
