Witches Broom Pretzels

Witches Broom Pretzels

These simple and easy Witches Broom Pretzels are the perfect way to get in the spooky Halloween spirit! Kick off the Halloween season with these fun treats today!

I love easy recipes. I just do. They’re great to have on hand when you want to make something creative but you just don’t have the time to devote to an hour long (or more!) project.

I also love when I can find a recipe that my kids can help with. There’s just something about being together in the kitchen that allows for the creativity to flow. It’s a time when we can bond together, work together and create together and as a busy mom, I cherish those moments.

This is why I love this Witch Broom recipe so much. With just a few simple ingredients and mere moments of time, these adorable treats are done and ready to be enjoyed.

They are perfect for a fun after-school snack or even for a school party as well. All I know is that when I make them, I fall in love with the ease and taste of them over and over again.

Give yourself a break this Halloween season and give this simple Witch Broom recipe a try!

How to Make These Halloween Snacks:

Line a baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper.

Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second increments, mixing after each, until smooth.

Add to a piping bag with a writing tip or simply use a plastic sandwich bag and snip a small edge off.

To make sure chocolate will stick to the brooms, add a small dot of chocolate to the paper then add the end of the pretzel stick on top to secure.

Start squeezing the bag in a back-and-forth motion at the end of the pretzel stick, forming the straw/bristles of the broom.  Then decorate your bristles with your favorite Halloween colored sprinkles.

Don’t be scared by this Zombie Halloween Popcorn and Candy recipe! While it may look a little creepy, it’s totally worth each and every bite!

This is one of those Halloween treats that your kiddos just won’t be able to get enough of. (and who knows…maybe you, too!) There’s just something so hilarious and spooky about this Zombie Halloween Popcorn that will have them literally eyeballing every bite just to see what they are about to it.

I love making this to have around the house here and there, but it’s also a fun treat for October birthdays, sleepovers and even a really cool treat to take to class parties. I can’t tell you the double takes that occur once people lay their eyes on this tasty treat. It’s hilarious.

Every year, my kids ask for this popcorn recipe by name. They love the bright colors, and of course, the random eyeballs that can be found without. Plus, they love being able to help make it as well so it really is a fun family effort each and every time that we create it.

DIY Mummy Water Bottles [Quick Halloween Craft]

DIY Halloween Crafts Mummy

Water Bottle Halloween Crafts

These DIY Water Bottle Mummy’s are the perfect Halloween craft for all ages! Super simple and a fun and festive way to kick off the Halloween season.

If you are anything like me, you hate wasting anything. No matter what it is, I swear I can look at a piece of “trash” and see some sort of craft use for it. To me, that’s a beautiful thing! I love being able to reuse something again instead of dumping it into a landfill and also showing my children how to be creative as well.

What I love about this DIY Water Bottle Mummy craft is that it takes so little time and so little effort, but the end result is absolutely adorable. All you need are literally a couple of smaller water bottles (used ones are totally fine!) and a few simple other items that you more than likely have around the home, and before you realize it, you’ve created a super adorable (or spooky if you want!) water bottle mummy that is the perfect Halloween decoration.

Can you imagine having a few of these lining your porch or windows Halloween night? Absolutely spectacular and so much festive fun!

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pie! Getting Ready for The Peanuts Movie #PeanutsMovie

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Albertsons Safeway. The opinions and text are all mine.
I have a new reason to celebrate!  The Peanuts Movie is coming out on November 6th!  Snoopy and Charlie Brown are two of my all time favorite characters and I can’t wait to share that with my children with this new movie.
I have started getting into The Peanuts Movie spirit with some yummy peanut recipes, and shopping at Shaws which is a member of the Albertson Safeway Family that is the exclusive grocery partner of The Peanuts Movie.
One of my kids favorites peanut recipes is my No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie.  It’s a quick and easy dessert that I can have ready in minutes.Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

Ingredients:
Cookies
Peanut Butter
Chocolate Pudding Cups
Pretzels
Whip Cream Topping
Chocolate Syrup
Peanut Butter Syrup
Sprinkles

Line the bottom of a pie pan with cookies.

Next spread a layer of peanut butter.
On top of the peanut butter spread on a layer of the chocolate pudding cups.
Next add a salty layer with pretzels.
Then the top layer being whipped cream.
Now to make the pie pretty, I drizzle chocolate and peanut butter syrup all over the top.
Since it’s Halloween season, I like to make it a bit more festive and add some holiday sprinkles to the top.
That’s it!  Finished in minutes.  You can serve it right away or put it in the fridge for later.  The pie gets better with time, the longer it sits and the cookies absorb the chocolate and peanut butter the more tasty it becomes.
Make sure you head over to Shaws to stock up on all your The Peanuts Movie necessities!
While supplies last if you buy 3 items from participating brands, you will receive a Peanuts branded trick-o-treating bag!
Plus head over to and enter to win this awesome Charlie Brown Sweepstakes!
