If you’re in an amazing place in the world then going on a tour can be one of the best ways to learn more about it. But instead of a regular old walking tour, how about a helicopter or hot air balloon ride? You could even look into luxury yachts for charter to be able to travel along the waters and see more of the place from the coast and take in views that you never would have got to see otherwise. It could be a guided tour with a guide showing you around, or it could be a downloadable guide that you listen to as you drive, walk or fly around through headphones or your car’s speakers.

When you visit a new part of the world, it’s so interesting and exciting to be able to see animals in their habitat. It can be mindblowing to see animals that you’ve only ever seen in books or the zoo just out in the wild. Great food is always an experience, so if you get the chance to book an extra special meal then go for it. It might be something prestige or just a place you’ve always wanted to go. Research what’s in the area you’re staying in, and if its something popular make sure to get a booking in early. Even if you don’t tend to go all out with food when you’re away, having that one special meal where you spend a bit more, have all of the courses and drink the nice wine can be something you look back on and think Wow I’m glad I did that.
