St. Petersburg Madeira Beach KOA prides itself on having some amazing amenities for its guests. Things like on-site laundry, year-round pool access, hot tubs/sauna, Wi-Fi, year-round activities for all ages, and fishing spots. We were able to experience their Deluxe Cabins for a weekend, and so I really have to share some details about this amazing experience with you all.

Bike Rentals

Select from four different style bicycles such as the 3 wheel banana bike, squads, double seater, or the new electric-assist bikes. The electric-assist bikes are available for rent hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly while the other bicycle rentals are available for half-day or hourly rental.

Heated Pool and Hot Tub

Relax after a long day of bicycling in one of the two hot tubs located at St. Petersburg Madeira Beach KOA. Their heated pool is certainly a treat for the whole family to get some relaxation and exercise during your family camping treat too.

Stroll the Pinellas County Trail

One of the best activities at this KOA in Madeira Beach includes the Pinellas County Trail. This popular urban pathway stretches from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs and beyond. Families can enjoy bicycling, rollerblading, walking, or running along this county trail.

Mini-Golf

If you’re up for a little kayak adventure you can rent a kayak at the front desk and explore the mangrove-lined bayou. Keep your eyes out for dolphins, herons, and other wildlife during your time exploring the bayou in your kayak rental.

Winter Activities

There are other daily and weekly activities at St. Petersburg Madeira Beach KOA such as line dancing, Bingo, pancake breakfast every Saturday, watercolor classes, and so much more! There are honestly so many activities at KOA at St. Petersburg Madeira Beach that I couldn’t begin to share every last option.

Some of the other fun events that happen at St. Petersburg Madeira Beach KOA include Saturday night movie at the pool. Every Saturday throughout the summer camping season you can sit near the pool and enjoy an outdoor movie night with your family. This event happens when the weather is agreeable, of course.
