Star Wars Hotel at Walt Disney World

If Galaxy’s Edge was not the immersive Star Wars experience you were looking for, wait. Disney announced a hotel that will take your Disney vacation to a whole new level. Your stay has a structure more like a Disney Cruise with a fixed two-night adventure. The hotel will be a cruise liner experience. It will take you on a journey through the stars with a port day at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu. The whole time you stay on the Star Wars Cruiseliner, you will feel as though you are drifting through space and are part of a unique Star Wars story. To get to the cruise liner, you will have to be transported in a pod. From there, nothing will break the illusion of being part of the Star Wars universe.

Epcot’s HUGE Overall

As Disney guts Future World, we see beautiful concept art of lush vegetation. The new design brings out more natural beauty. We’ll also get a more permanent way to celebrate Epcot’s seasonal Festivals. Along with the changes will be updated theming that unifies the park rather than maintaining two distinct parks in one. The World theme borrows from World Showcase which will remain mostly the same except for the new Ratatouille ride coming in 2020. EPCOT (as it will now be called) expands into three other neighborhoods: World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery. Among the changes will be a stunning new Festival Center. The building features a viewing area for the new Epcot evening show Harmonious. Near World

Mary Poppins attraction

Another big D23 announcement for Epcot has to do with yet another World Showcase pavilion. If you’ve followed rumors, you might know that a Mary Poppins ride has been in the works for some time. However, the level of the undertaking seemed to downgrade over the last couple of years. Surprisingly, The Mary Poppins attraction was finally announced along with a proposed addition to the existing UK Pavilion modeled after Cherry Tree Lane. While this new expansion will be an exciting Disney twist to the classic pavilion, virtually nothing is known about the actual ride.

The NEW Disney Planning App – Disney Genie

Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is about to get a whole lot easier. For some time, Disney has been testing technology for recommending relevant guest experiences. You can input information on Walt Disney World’s official website and get a recommended list of things to do based on your individual preferences. Up until now, you have had My Disney Experience to take you the rest of the way by managing Fastpasses, tickets, reservations and even mobile check in to your hotel where it serves as your room key. Disney Genie is about to make things even easier. Planning for a first time trip to Disney World is especially daunting. You don’t want to miss a thing. That’s why Disney’s new app is there to help you know what you are going to like best and put together an optimized itinerary based on your must-do list.

Cirque Du Soleil

Cirque Du Soleil has been at Walt Disney World for a long time. La Nouba was the resident show in Downtown Disney from 1998 to 2017. Now the vacant Space in Disney Springs will once again spring into action with a new show inspired by Disney itself. Cirque Du Soleil has made extensive efforts in collaboration with Disney to gather up as much knowledge as possible about what makes Disney so unique. The new show will feature such inspiration and feature music from memorable Disney classics.

  2. Wow, that is so awesome! My family would love to head to Disney to check it out! Looks out of this world..literally!

  3. I love what they are doing with the worlds in Epcot. I am sad though, that they are removing the legacy stones. My husband and I had our photo added to it before we got married. I hope they relocate them to a different area.
