The Rides Inside Disney’s Pandora

Avatar Flight of Passage – Fly on the back of a Banshee during an exhilarating 3D Ride.  The first time I got off this ride, I instantly turned to my kids and said, “this is the best ride in Disney”.  My opinion hasn’t changed, this ride is like Soaring on steroids and it is absolutely incredible!

Na’vi River Journey – a gentle river ride similar to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” ride, however on this river you Journey deep into a rainforest to find the Na’vi Shaman of Songs.

What to Buy While in Pandora

You will likely notice people walking around the Animal Kingdom with Banshee’s on their shoulders before you even hit Pandora.  That’s because these cool interactive animals are amazing and the must-buy item when you’re in Pandora.

The day we visited Pandora the line to get into Windtraders was at least a hundred people deep and they were only letting a small number of people into the store at once.  Luckily the line does go fairly fast as most people were picking out a Banshee and heading straight to checkout.  However, we opted to go through the entire adoption experience and the kids absolutely loved it.

Adopt a Banshee Visiting Disney's Pandora

The Banshee’s sit on your shoulder and you can make them move and make sounds with a simple controller.
I also recommend getting a perch for your banshee if you want to show him/her off once you get home, instead of sticking it back in the box.
