My kids are huge Star Wars fans, so today is an extra fun day in my house. The kids are wearing their favorite Star Wars shirts, they are asking to bake some Star Wars themed treats after school, and they are begging to drive over to Hollywood Studios tomorrow and hang out with all the Star Wars characters. Besides baking up some fun this afternoon, I’ll also be getting these Star Wars Printable Coloring Pages ready for them to enjoy thanks to the folks at Disney!
Don’t Miss Out on These Underrated Disney Attractions
It’s probably no secret that the most popular Disney attractions are those which seem timeless and appeal to the masses. Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and It’s a Small World immediately come to mind, in the eyes of many.
But, what about some of the hidden gems? The truth is there are lots of attractions scattered throughout the Disney parks that deserve more attention. Quite honestly, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t take time to check them out. Here are three possibilities to get you started.
My family is absolutely obsessed with Disney, if you follow my Instagram Stories you know, we can’t pull ourselves away from the magic of being among the pixie dust. So of course, even Valentine’s Day has to have a touch of magic with these adorable Mickey Heart Cookies. Do you have a Mickey fan with a sweet tooth in your home? Then make sure you try out this delicious recipe!
Materials: 1 Bag of sugar cookie mix 1 Box of Good and Plenty candy 1 cup of chocolate chips Red food coloring
Prepare your sugar cookie mix according to the package directions. Add in red food coloring until the batter is the color you desire.
Spread the colored sugar cookie batter smoothly in a baking dish or cookie sheet. Bake according to the package instructions. Let cool completely.
When the cookies have cooled completely, cut out several heart shapes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Place a cup of chocolate chips into the microwave for 1 minute. Stir the chocolate chips and keep heating them at 30-second intervals until they are completely melted.
Hold each heart-shaped cookie upside down and dip the rounded ends of each heart cookie into the melted chocolate.
Place a dot of melted chocolate on the back of a piece of white Good and Plenty candy. Attach the candy to the front of the heart-shaped cookie below where it was dipped in the chocolate. You will place two pieces of white Good and Plenty candy on the front of each cookie, parallel to each other. You can view the photo for reference on where to place the candies on the cookies.
Put the cookies in the freezer until the chocolate hardens completely and then serve.
These are the perfect treat for any Disney fan with a sweet tooth! Perhaps a fun way to tell the kids about your next magical trip?
I am super excited about the news I’m sharing today! Have you heard about the upcoming Disney Pixar’s Incredibles sequel?
Incredibles 2 hits theaters on June 15th, 2018 and after watching the newly released trailer, my family has already started the countdown!
Seriously how cute is this baby?!
Disney Pixar’s INCREDIBLES 2 Synopsis
Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.
When Moana debut in November our house quickly stopped being filled with the sound of a 7-year-old singing “Let It Go” over Elsa, while Frozen played on repeat throughout our home. Moana’s “How Far I’ll Go” replaced it, However, I have a feeling Elsa will be back on in a few months!
I am so excited to share with you that Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios are teaming up this holiday season when WDAS’ new featurette OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE opens in front of Disney•Pixar’s original feature film COCO on Nov. 22nd!
