What are Alexa Skill Blueprints
The Amazon Echo already has tens of thousands of Alexa Skill which can you can find and manage through the Alexa app, one of my favorites is Peaceful Meditation, while my kids love playing rock, paper, scissors with Alexa. However, now you are also able to create your own skills with Alexa Skill Blueprints at blueprints.amazon.com from a desktop or mobile device using your Amazon login information.
Alexa Skill Blueprints has over twenty templates in six categories allowing you to create a personalized Alexa skill in minutes. You can create personalized family stories and trivia games, set up flash cards for your children’s upcoming vocabulary test, leave information for your babysitter or pet sitter, build household chore charts, and so much more.
How we use Alexa Skill Blueprints in Our Family
As a mom I love the flashcards blueprint the most, we have two third-graders who were always complaining about studying for vocabulary tests, up until Alexa was the one helping them study. The chore chart is also at the top of my favorites list, now the kids can’t say “I didn’t know what I was supposed to do”.
As a family, we love the personalized jokes and trivia games. It not only brings us together around the Amazon Echo to laugh and talk, but these Alexa Skills Blueprints have also helped us learn things about each other that we didn’t realize we didn’t know.
