Like most busy moms I rely on Amazon to keep my life going a little smoother.  Whether it’s ordering a book for a book club that I need to have in my hands the same day or putting a video on for the kids through Amazon Prime so that I can get some tasks done without being interrupted.  Amazon Echo is one of the huge ways Amazon helps this busy mom stay on track!  I am always asking Alexa what time it is, or what the weather is like, and the kids are able to ask Alexa all the random questions that used to require me to stop and google an answer, like how many miles is Mars from Earth, by the way, Mars is 73,943,356 miles away.  Plus, now Amazon Echo not only has the Alexa Skills it also has Alexa Skill Blueprints which allows you to create your own skills in minutes.

As a mom I love the flashcards blueprint the most, we have two third-graders who were always complaining about studying for vocabulary tests, up until Alexa was the one helping them study.  The chore chart is also at the top of my favorites list, now the kids can’t say “I didn’t know what I was supposed to do”.

However, the kids like the personalized stories they can create and they absolutely love the Burns Blueprint, because they think it is hilarious that Alexa is roasting them.
