Are your kids Avengers fans? Mine sure are! With my boys everything has to do with Avengers, clothes, toys, room decor, you name it and they are talking about Avengers. So you can imagine the excitement in my house regarding the newly released MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Blue-ray/DVD that came out October 2nd.
I am thrilled that it came out on DVD just in time for the Halloween season. This is a fun time for parties and what better way for my kids to enjoy their favorite super hero bunch than with a MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron viewing party!
During my last Walmart shopping trip I secretly picked up the new DVD, Avengers Costumes, popcorn, and supplies to make coordinating Trick-or-Treating bags. Then I surprised my little fans with the movie and made it into a fun viewing party!
They got off the bus expecting a normal low-key Friday night, however instead were greeted with cool new Hulk and Captain America costumes. Their favorite Avengers of course.
Then I pulled out the new MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron DVD they had been asking for. The kids were over the moon excited!
After we finishing the movie we headed out to a local Trick or Treating event. With a full afternoon of Avengers we needed to make sure the boys had coordinating Trick-or-Treating bags. These are incredibly simple to make!
What you need:
Canvas Bags (you can find these for a couple dollars at craft stores or use one you have around the house)
Heat n’ Bond
Print the printables to use as stencils. Then iron the pieces of felt onto the Heat n’ Bond. Trace the pieces from the printables onto the fusible paper, and cut them out.
Iron the pieces onto the canvas bags following the Heat n’ Bonds timing instructions.
That’s all, you have cheap and easy trick-or-treating bags that match perfectly with your Avengers costumes and make for the perfect addition to a MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron
My kids haven’t had enough of this movie and have been asking to watch it non stop sense last Friday. So we are looking forward to having a bigger MARVEL viewing party on Halloween night with all our little Avenger fan friends!
Be sure to check out all the fun MARVEL character costumes! I would love to hear about your MARVEL Halloween dress up plans!
