I have an obsession with candles, I love how they can instantly make me feel relaxed and peaceful. I was excited to get the opportunity to try out The SOI Co. Luxe Box Candle
. I had never heard about this brand prior to this and was interested to see how these beauties worked.
SOI Candles are hand-poured using 100%, FDA approved, kosher soy oil and burn cleaner than paraffin-based candles. Available in a variety of sizes and fragrances, SOI candles will burn about 140 hours (approximately 40% longer than wax candles), are soot-free and do not emit any harmful toxins into your home. Unlike wax, soy oil burns coolly at 106º into a reflective pool of soy that always remains warm to the touch and will not burn little hands.
As SOI candles are created from natural soy, the melt pool can also be used as a skin moisturizer that can be massaged into dry or irritated areas. It can also be applied as a soothing remedy to sunburns, eczema, psoriasis, and poison oak.
SOI Candles are triple-fragranced in a variety of delightful aromas to complement the décor and emphasize the ambience of your home. Never overpowering, one SOI Candle can scent most areas with a wonderful aroma.
The first thing I noticed was the packaging. The box is nice and sturdy, showing the quality of the product right away. As I opened the candle I could immediately smell the pretty sent. I received the Plumeria scent which has a fresh smell that reminds me of a cross between a clean laundry or rain scented candle. Its beautiful and inviting without being overbearing. Once out of the box the candle is simple and chic. The soy wax has a soap like texture and the glass holder is simple yet very sturdy. I have been burning this candle all day and am very pleased with the quality and scent. I will definitely be buying more of these candles in the future.
